dc.description.abstract This study has been done to investigate the impact of corporate social responsibility on financial performance on banking sector of Pakistan. Further we have separately examined the results of foreign and local banks operating in Pakistan and then compare the results. Cross-sectional data has been used to examine the data. Overall results of the study show a significant impact of corporate social responsibility on financial performance of banking sector. Stake holder theory has been used to support the study. Further in comparison we have seen that local banks are more involve in corporate social responsibilities then foreign banks. en_US
