dc.description.abstract This project is basically about the supply chain strategy for inventory automation inone dollar store. One Dollar store is a concept from where customer can buy anything for one dollar or Rs 100/- with a wide range of different items. Currently company is running his all operation manually and collects information on observational or judgmental forecasting. The forecasting is done based on subjective assessment and opinion of marketing team of dollar store while inventory management is based on the opinion of supplier, purchasing department, storekeeper, salesman and customer. Over the period of time One Dollar Store business has flourished and we have seen a growth in sales which has ultimately put company in position that there is desperately need of automation in current System and developing an integrated Supply chain management strategy. For this we did detail Analysis of the company operations and practices we have also identified some major problems that currently exist in business. We also try to cover marketing area, financing area and supply chain management strategies. At the end we discussed why automation is important for any business and also recommend software used for Inventory management automation at One Dollar Store. en_US
