Abstract:
This study explores the benefits of CPEC to Pakistan with respect to Regional Connectivity & Economic Stability. It will also cater the various factors that account for forming a strong alliance with investing partners into creating a trade free zone and mark Pakistan as the Central Hub of Trading Activities. Unemployment has given rise to several crimes across the nation, the government is trying to control this upheaving threat by investing in to new projects for employment and overall economic growth. Due to low industrial activity and energy sector unable to fulfill daily requirements, Pakistan needs a relief in energy production.
On the basis 0f this qualitative case study, a study was pr0posed and tried in the envir0nment 0f Pakistan. Based 0n the available literature, and developed framework we are measuring the effects of regional connectivity be it through land, sea or air which in return expands the horizon of complementing elements in formulation of the bigger picture. And also under the economic benefit umbrella, we will be observing shifts in economic stability, employment, infrastructure development, technological development, social welfare, increase in exports and imports, foreign direct investment. Data is collected using various verified case studies and articles contributing to the study at hand. The collection of data regarding this study is dividing into two major parts, firstly Regional Connectivity and second is Economic Benefit.
The results of this study show that the building of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is an significant consensus grasped by the President of China & Prime Minister of Pakistan. It will enhance the exchange and power collaboration among China & Pakistan and help approximately 3 BN people in China (Primarily Western China), Southern Asian Region and Middle East(Gulf).
Our findings also show that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), will definitely turn the tables in favor of Pakistan once its completed. China aims to build its One Belt One Road (OBOR) project to help connect with the world by indefinitely reducing its costs of freight and also cutting down travel time to a mere 10 days margin.
