Recommendations for effective and efficient process of Procurement and logistics in ets : Eastern testing services : Oil & Gas industry

Abstract

ETS (Eastern Testing Services) is an oil and gas industry related organization. ETS (Eastern Testing Services) is to provide superior quality of service by considering health, safety and environment protection and driving technology solutions in Well Testing and Well Intervention Services to the Oil and Gas Industry in Pakistan. Eastern Testing Services (ETS) has a multi-skilled workforce that can integrate an array of skills into one cross functional team and provide most cost effective and time effective solutions. As emerging efficient and effective process of Supply Chain in oil industry is becoming is more popular because of its component through which competition in local and global market has been increased day by day. ETS is facing some operation challenges which slow down the processes of SCM. In our project report first we analyze the procurement, logistics and inventory management process of Eastern Testing. Then we identify where the real problem exists in efficient and effective working of operational chain process. We identify gaps in their process and then recommend some corporate level supply chain process which included the restructuring of their supply chain department which also enable them to increase their services.
