Abstract:
Telephone Industries of Pakistan (T.I.P) is a government sector organization which has a manufacture facility to wide range of telecommunication merchandises. It had a distribution network that was a cost effective channel. In the changing situations of open market rivalry and Chinese products in market etc., the distribution channel has lost its cost effectiveness. Our aim is to study the distribution channel model of Telephone sets being manufactured and distributed by T.I.P and help to make the distribution network cost effective particular in case of public sector organizations.
