Abstract:
Blessing Gas (pvt) Ltd. Is an LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) marketing company with nationwide distribution and sales operations in Pakistan. The highly consumed alternative fuel used domestically, industrial & commercially for fulfilling their need as a part of an energy. The major departments at blessing gas are finance, Operations management, Marketing and Human resource. Each department has its duties and roles, and contribute mutually in achieving the goals of the organization. Supply chain management was previously being ignored as it Is a relatively new concept in Pakistan however it is critical in decreasing costs and improving the overall value created by the company. The main focus of our project is based on implementing a Supply Chain Management Department at
Blessing Gas (PVT) Ltd and improves the overall efficiency of the value chain at every step. To complete this project we discussed the scope and benefits of supply chain management with the top level management and with their help and coordination identified many inefficiency in the value chain. By using supply chain principles we have provided the company with effective solutions that will help eliminate wastages and save time and costs for the long term future. The focus of our project is not only limited to the internal factors within the organization but also the influence of external factors such as the government and the regulatory authorities that govern the distribution and generation of liquefied petroleum gas within Pakistan.
