dc.description.abstract Given the impact of Inventory activities on the operation and effectiveness of public sectors in Pakistan, it is essential that these activities be performed by qualified staff with high professional and ethical standards and using sound procedures anchored in appropriate policies and regulations. The findings revealed that IT adoption, Lean inventory System, Strategic Supplier Performance and Inventory Management & Financial Performance which can directly affect Inventory process of OGDCL to a great extent. Inventory results need to be reported to internal or external monitors since this affects Inventory process at OGDCL. The government officials need to be encouraged to use discretion to license and accredit facilities, providers, services and products to reduce opening risk of abuse of power and use of resources. This study examines inventory management and the role it plays in improving entire customer satisfaction perspective of OGDCL, Pakistan. OGDCL is therefore, looking at various inventory management systems as they belief this will have a positive effect on the satisfaction of their customers. The study also outlines the research methodology used in the research and concludes by pointing out the recommendations of the research as well as suggestions for further research. en_US
