Planning & Monitoring of Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) Project using Primavera P6

Abstract

The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) is an initiative of the Government of Punjab under the leadership of chief Minister, Mr. Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. In order to make it more efficient. transparent and autonomous in its functioning; PEEF is registered under section 42 of the companies' ordinance, 1984. PEEF is a proactive scholarship scheme which provides funds at the doorstep of the talented and deserving students. Allocation of theses scholarships is on the basis of Tehsils and Distric wise result of students. Project undertaken are usually looked after by respective departments. Enterprise Project Structure and Organizational Breakdown Structure of PEEF have been discussed in this report. Primavera which is leading project management software in the industry is used to manage projects also in PEEF. Real time implementation of the project "Award of 50k Scholarships for 2016-17" also been discussed in this report. Primavera P6 does the practical conversion of all activities from planning executing, monitoring, controlling and closing into detailed breakdown of project managemen knowledge areas to get the desired output.
