dc.description.abstract Due to the fast development of the global gig economy, the very idea of how people and companies cooperate has been restructured to bring a growing need to find the reliable, transparent, and efficient freelance platforms. Nevertheless, even though there are multiple well-known marketplaces, the problems that users often face include the lack of trust, inability to communicate, insufficient security of payments, strict role assignments, and absence of actionable information. These issues make users have less trust and reduce the overall performance of freelance ecosystems. To overcome these constraints, this research presents TalentHive a modern and multi-purpose freelance marketplace that will provide a smooth connection of buyers and sellers in a single digital space. TalentHive is developed with the MERN stack and has a dual-role system where any user can also play the role of a service provider and service seeker without having to create more than one account. The platform combines the critical marketplace features such as the creation of gigs, the purchase of services, job placement, proposal placement, order tracking, ratings, reviews, and real-time messaging. STRIPE integration is provided to secure financial transactions and provide encrypted and safe payment processing. High performance, scalability, and maintainability in the system is also obtained through the use of JWT-based authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), a modular architecture, which is cloud-ready, and reusable UI components. In order to provide users with action-oriented insights and information, TalentHive has an analytics dashboard that shows detailed representation of earnings, orders, activity trends and general platform engagement. Its development was a systematic process that covered requirement analysis, system design, low-level architecture, database design, user interface/user experience, and development iteratively and through rigorous testing. Functional, usability, integration, and reliability tests established that the platform is useful in supporting fundamental workflow, such as processing orders, sending and receiving messages, gig control, proposal management, and secure payment transacting. The TalentHive implementation proves to be effective, feasible, and user-friendly to the constraints that have been witnessed in the current freelance marketplaces. On the whole, TalentHive can be viewed as a major step in creating a transparent, safe, and most efficient freelance ecosystem of the contemporary digital economy en_US
