The rise in counterfeit goods in recent years has caused significant issues for sellers, consumers, and law enforcement. This project presents a blockchain-based system to ensure that products are authentic and that the path from stores to buyers is transparent. However, traditional centralized product registries are vulnerable to tampering and lack verifiable end-to-end traceability, making provenance checks unreliable and multi stakeholder coordination difficult. Sellers can use this system to create stores and register products under them, with each product assigned a unique product ID. Users can search for products using product ID, before making purchase request. Sellers, buyers, and administrator are among the various user categories in the system, each has distinct responsibilities. Smart contracts reduce the possibility of data alteration by keeping product information secure and publicly accessible. To illustrate how the system functions and how users interact with it, various diagrams were created, including activity diagrams, use case models, and sequence diagrams. This system aims to prevent counterfeit goods, boost consumer trust, and provide a secure, collaborative method of verifying product authenticity by utilizing the transparent and reliable aspects of blockchain technology |
