Abstract:
In the evolving landscape of e-commerce, consumers often face difficulties in identifying the most cost effective platform for purchasing identical products.Manually comparing prices across various online marketplaces is not only inefficient but also prone to outdated information due to the dynamic nature of pricing. This project introduces a web-based Product Price Tracker for Multi-Vendor Marketplaces designed to aggregate and present real time pricing data from e-commerce platforms such as Daraz, PriceOye, and Telemart. The system is developed using a modern technology stack comprising React.js for thefron tend, Node.js with Express.js for backend logic, and MongoDB for data storage. Real time data retrieval is achieved through the integration of scrappers and webhooks.Key features include price comparison across platforms, and user defined alerts for price reductions. By providing a centralized and intelligent solution for price monitoring, this application aims to support informed decision making for consumers, assist retailers in competitive analysis, and offer valuable insights for market researchers. The project contributes to enhancing transparency and efficiency within the digital commerce ecosystem.
