Abstract:
The goal of this project is to develop a comprehensive platform that encompasses skill exchange and professional growth for people and small businesses. SkillSwap is unique in that it allows users to con nect, collaborate, and share services in unconventional ways, while in some cases, refusing to enter into a typical monetary system com pletely. This platform is designed for users of a diverse background such as students, freelancers, job seekers, or professionals exchang ing services. Users provide details about their skills, and with the skill match process enhanced through AI powered Smart Matching, the platform can identify a match between the skills being exchanged, with user preferences, needs, and capabilities. The features of Skill Swap also include dynamic, and context allowed skill certification and rating, fraud protection, and a platform design that ensures the user experience is positive, creating a secure, smooth, efficient and effective exchange, that can be used by users both online as well as in-person. SkillSwap’s implemented system is based on time or credits, which can accommodate the limitations of a typical freelance or service market place based on budget. SkillSwap is intended to create a more com plete way of acquiring, growing, and exchanging expertise as users, at all levels, completely unique from everyone’s budget.
