| dc.description.abstract | Fire is as destructive as it is useful. Without a proper proactive approach to preventing fire outbreaks, the results could be extremely disastrous when they occur. With just a few taps, users can alert the nearest fire station to the location of a fire, and receive real-time updates on the response efforts. Thus, there is a need for a fast and convenient way of reporting fire incidents. The growing usage of smartphones provides a way of equipping users with a means of reporting fire incidents to ensure prompt response and proper management of the incidents. In this report, we analyze the manual process of reporting fire outbreaks and design an automated FIRESCUE — a mobile application, to enable users to quickly alert the nearest fire emergency units of any possible fire incidents. We developed FIRESCUE with the aid of the Software Development Life Cycle phases and Unified Modeling Language which was used as a model to visualize the design view of the application. A simple Graphical User was designed. Our work Interface (GUI) prototype of the proposed application highlights a practical application of analysis and design concepts in developing software to provide an efficient solution for reporting fire outbreaks. The objective of this project is to develop an application for specific organizations including Schools, Hospitals, Industries, and Private and Government Sectors. The app will be used by selected users only and users will be eliminated if uploads unnecessary content. Admin will be given the option to select the nearest fire station. This app will help organizations to get help directly from fire stations in any disastrous situation. This report presents an in-depth analysis of a Fire Rescue System comprising both a User Module and an Admin Module. The purpose of this system is to streamline and enhance the efficiency of fire rescue operations by facilitating effective communication and coordination between users and administrator. | en_US |
