The Designing of Logistics Tube Software for Summit Developers for Improving their Opeartions

Abstract

THE DESIGNING OF LOGISTICS TUBE SOFTWARE FOR SUMMIT DEVELOPERS FOR IMPROVING THEIR OPEARTIONS The purpose of this project is to design software “Logistics Tube”. For the purpose of running smooth supply chain operations of organization as we have identified their problem by gathering data through observing their systems and supply chain operations as a customer’s/consultants by meeting with management and with their vendors by using semi-structured interviews technique. After a comprehensive research and data collection we reached on this point to design a comprehensive software/solution that manages various modules in a very efficient manner and that can be best way to run organizations supply chain operations smoothly. The designing of this “Logistics Tube” software have to build a database of their different modules that are connected with software and are interlinked with each other, so to update the daily information of the organization’s operations and cop up time to time information more accurately. Hence less effort is required and allows saving their time and cost by managing all the events/functions/processes at one place that is on pc. It was hard for many companies to use such software, in a country like Pakistan, where people have limited resources and less awareness of technology. This study recommends that organization use such software to easily manage their day-to-day supply chain operations and provide them the environment of ease. This will also help the organization to introduce the paperless environment and reduce the cost with reduction of duplication of efforts.
