dc.description.abstract The core purpose of this is to analyze the role of third party logistics (3PL) in supply chain of oil industry in Pakistan. Qualitative research methodology is adopted to collect the required data from 8 oil companies operating in Pakistan and having their offices in Islamabad. Results show that outsourcing in oil industry sector has been gaining more and more importance with the passage of time. There are several problems that oil industry has been facing due to lack of coordination between oil companies and third party logistics providers. en_US
