Abstract:
Purpose
The objective ofthis study is to analyze the impact of Strategic Human Resource Management
Practices (SHRM Practices) and Women Empowerment (WE) on Perceived Organizational
Support (POS) and its impact on Organizational Effectiveness (OE).
Methodology & Design
This is a quantitative research study. Data was collected from a sample of 312 participants. A
structured questionnaire was developed for data collection over a span oftwo months through
online generated google forms. The proposed hypotheses and relationship between the
variables were checked through SMART PLS.
Findings
The findings reveal that there is a significant positive relationship between POS and OE and
both SHRM Practices and WE have a positive impact of POS. When the organization values
its employees, it creates a sense of belonging in them. They in return invest hard efforts in the
workplaces which leads to organizational effectiveness.
Limitations
This study was conducted in a year, which is short amount oftime and the study sample was
only 312 participants which is not representative ofthe entire population.
Recommendations
The organizations should value their employees, to retain them through SHRM practices. This
will lead to organizational effectiveness. The sample size should be increased to include more
participants in this study.
