Abstract:
Present research was conducted to study the impact of Interest rates, Inflation Rate and Stock Market Index on Deposits of Commercial Banks in Pakistan. This study was based on time series analysis. Data was collected on monthly basis starting from Jan 2008 to Dec 2009. It was hypothesized that Interest rates, Inflation Rate and Stock Market Index will have impact on Deposits. Data was analyzed using regression analysis which reflects that Inflation Rate have significant impact on selected dependent variable.
