HR & Financial analysis of PIA

Abstract

As students of MBA from Bahria University Islamabad researchers have selected topic for our final project that is revival of PIA from current situation and suggest best possible line of action to be adopted so that PIA should become a profit earning institution of international standards. In this project researcher undergo a detailed study of facts such as industry analysis, economic analysis, financial analysis and human resource analysis. Researcher also compared PIA with emirates financially to analyze current standing of PIA and to identify grey areas. Researcher also calculated fair value of PIA for the purpose of privatization and bailout package for the purpose of improving the performance of PIA. In conclusion on basis of findings researchers suggest some recommendations and recommend a plan of actions such as a bailout package, a currently PIA worth (valuation) in order to privatize and suggest plan of action for management in field of human resource, finance, management if adopted can bring PIA out of the crisis.
