| dc.description.abstract | Education is the first step for any nation towards success. Education in the largest sense is any act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual. The importance of Education is basically for two reasons. One, the training of a human mind is not complete without education. Education makes a man a right thinker. It tells man how to think and how to make decision. Inclusive education is the process to remove all barriers and enable all students including the excluded groups, so that they can learn and participate effectively within the regular school systems. Inclusive education is different from the concepts of ‘integration’ and ‘mainstreaming’. These concepts were more related to disabled and persons with special educational needs. Inclusion talks about the child’s right to participate and the school’s duty to accept the child. Inclusion rejects the idea of special schools or classrooms which separate students with disabilities from students without disabilities. In case of Inclusive Education for the Disabled Children, the NGOs are of the view that the government’s goal of education for all cannot be achieved when the government has no defined policy for the 10 percent of children with mild and severe disabilities. NGOs, in the implementation of Inclusive Education for Disabled Children are facing numerous issues.
