dc.description.abstract Impact of work stress and work load on the job satisfaction of employee: An empirical case on Pakistani nurses Workplace stress occurs when an employee interacts with its environment which results in the awareness on the employee that he is not being able to cope up with the demands of their working environment which effects the job satisfaction of employee. Work load on the nurse’s increases it will leads towards the highest possibility of delays and nursing errors. This study empirically tests research frame work in which work stress and work load is linked to the job satisfaction of nurses. Purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of work stress and work load on the job satisfaction of nurses. To conduct this research both the primary as well as secondary data was collected. For the secondary data, articles and researchers on the internet were consulted. The methodology used for this research is questionnaire based on the Likert scale. Respondents of this study were nurses. To check the reliability of data SPSS 16 had been used. Correlation and regression tests had been applied for data analysis. Four government hospitals had been selected for this research. From the research it had been concluded that the work stress and work load influences the job satisfaction of nurses and based on these results few recommendations have been drawn. en_US
