Abstract:
The main of the study is to understand the role of Third Party
Logistics (3PL) in setting out the respective objective of the
companies. The research design is based on cause and effect
research which will be designed and carried out in order to
develop and extract detailed insights for observing the
relationship between the variables. The sampling tools and
technique for this purpose is non-probability sampling method
which refers to selectively drawing a sample, either on the
researcher’s decision or the availability or accessibility of
the sample, in a non-randomized manner. The sample size of 100
has been conducted in order to know the role of third party
logistics throughout the supply chain.
The linear regression and correlation analysis are performed in
the current study. The third party logistics process impacts on
supply chain management; since many materials are recycled and
returned to the traditional process of supply, production and
distribution. Third party logistics is essential to make it
possible to meet growing demand for adding value to products and
services, with cost reductions. It is recommended that the
global reach of supply chains, shorter life cycles of products
and increasing customer demands must be made aware organizations
that interruptions in the supply chain can cause operational and
financial impacts undesirable.
