dc.description.abstract The word “Motivation” has been originated from the word “Motive” which means “induce to act.” For achieving the organizational goals motivation is known as a significant feature. The extremely motivated individuals will prove extreme commitment to the organizational objectives and goals due to their higher level of satisfaction. The high motivation led the employees to the extreme commitment with the organizational goals. Motivation is such a compelling force that impels the individuals to initiate their objective or duties. It is the readiness of the individuals or group members to enlarge their power or force to attain a certain required outcome. Motivation does not exist in isolation. It is inside an individual’s heart, soul or head and can be extrinsic and intrinsic. An individual is motivated only if his/ her basic needs and necessities are fulfilled. His individual motivation will ultimately lead him to achieve the organizational set objectives. But for this purpose, organizations must also relate certain rewards and benefits in terms of compensation to the set goals and objectives. On the contrary, Job satisfaction is in “regard to an individual’s feelings, mindset and approach regarding the mature of their work”. Job satisfaction can be influenced by certain factors i.e. style of management, physical environment, fulfillment of their work, job rotation, career progression job enrichment and enlargement, en_US
