Shaigan is following state of the art SAP ERP system which helps them to integrate their functions to bring higher efficiency and productivity. Working with Shaigan it has provided us impressive opportunity to understand and apply our knowledge in the practical field. Our main focus in this study was to analyze the planning and forecasting strategies of Shaigan pharmaceuticals and recommend a better model which can prevail over their current concerns where they are still having difficulties in traditional database system. After the detailed meetings and understanding of Shaigan’s operations, we have come up with a suitable model of MRP II which should be implementing in their supply chain department. This will help them to overcome their inventory management issues, where they were still using traditional database system. This comprehensive MRP II module will integrate in their SAP system and reduce all the inconsistency and issues in their operations. With the help of MRP II we have shifted the planning and forecasting division in the Supply Chain Department. And this MRP II will produce comprehensive and detailed reports which will help them to develop inventory levels easily, management of finances and coordination with related department will be easy. This module of SAP will integrate different department together to bring more efficiency in operations of the company. This MRP II module now provide Supply chain department a platform for two-way planning, forecasting and replenishment through synchronized activities and information sharing. en_US
