Impact of adopting best practices of agile methodologies (Scrum) in success of Big Data projects: Pakistan”
Hassan, Agha
The main purpose of carrying out research on this topic is to identify the factors of an effective project management methodology that cause impact on project success in software houses of Pakistan where Big Data is involved. This research was dependent on the analysis of two independent variables (IV) which also can be counted as important features in success of big data projects i.e. agile methodologies & scrum practices and tailored scrum.
This research demonstrates the capacity in which above mentioned variables are significant for project success.
This research adopted quantitative research method. A total of 74 questionnaires were distributed, consideringourboundariestoresourcesofprojectteamsincompaniessuchassoftwarehouseswith a title of technical leads, project manager, senior manager, director and senior management. The response rate was 85% which is 63 innumber.
Data analysis was carried out considering all mentioned independent variables and their influence distresses the delivery of successful project in software houses of Pakistan. The conclusions, significant findings and limitations are also discussed in this study.

To Study the Impact of Job Stress on Employee Performance: A Case Study of Government Project, Pakistan Kidney & Liver Institute (PKLI)
Khalid, Shumaiyla
The subject research study encompasses the concept of job stress in the perspective of
employee performance in a public sector organization. The main purpose of the inquiry is
to examine the impact of job stress on employee performance of Pakistan Kidney & Liver
Institute (PKLI) employees.
A quantitative approach has been adopted to measure the impact of job stress on
employees’ performance. Employees’ performance is the dependant variable and the
work stress generators like Time pressure, Work load, Role ambiguity and Lack of
motivation have been used as Independent variables. A sample of 95 employees has been
collected through convenience sampling technique. For analysis correlation and
regression have been used to find the association of job stress on employees’
performance. The findings indicate that time pressure and role ambiguity increase work
stress in employees thereby affects the employees’ performance. However, lack of
motivation and work load have no effect on the employees performance. The study will
be helpful for PKLI management to understand the causes of work stress among
employees and strategies could be developed to mitigate the work stress
