<title>ENVISION EYE</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/15441</link>
<description>ENVISION EYE
Khan, Muhammad Hamza Reg # 57321; Daniyal, Muhammad Reg # 51135
A person's ability to perform some or all duties is compromised by visual&#13;
impairment, also known as low vision, which is a significant vision loss&#13;
that cannot be treated with regular glasses or contact lenses. As with&#13;
learning new information and skills, losing one's sight or eyesight makes it&#13;
very difficult to communicate with others. The visual impaired frequently&#13;
find themselves isolated from society, unable to connect with others or&#13;
access the same level ofknowledge as a normal person since they are often&#13;
placed in special classrooms and given special treatment. This project&#13;
introduces a novel Artificial Eye concept that is thought to aid the vision&#13;
impaired in order to prevent them from becoming dependent. It’ll will play&#13;
a key role in lifetime of blind man as a supportive system for him\her. For&#13;
this we used microcontroller named as Raspberry pi 4-B , Raspberry pi&#13;
ribbon camera for the detection of obstacle , ear phone for voice feedback&#13;
&amp; for coding we used python programming. Now whenever visually&#13;
handicapped person will hang it on neck the obstacles that we induced in&#13;
programming when come in way of blind person it will be detected by&#13;
camera and voice feedback are going to be send to blind person that there&#13;
is xyz obstacle in front of him etc. So in this way it will make the life of&#13;
blind person more easier as he will not be dependent on anyone anymore&#13;
plus he could now live a good and successful life.

<title>IMPACT ESTIMATION OF SMOG ON CERAMIC &amp; POLYMER INSULATOR BY DEVELOPING ARTIFICIAL CHAMBER</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/15442</link>
<description>IMPACT ESTIMATION OF SMOG ON CERAMIC &amp; POLYMER INSULATOR BY DEVELOPING ARTIFICIAL CHAMBER
Ali, Saud Reg # 57114; Nadeem, Muhammad Arman Reg # 54014; Zakir, Muhammad Usama Reg # 57067
This Final Year Project aims to check what impact SMOG has on Polymer and ceramic&#13;
Insulator thus leading to contamination and Flashover issues and causing power&#13;
failures. In past, experimental chambers have been designed to implicate aging tests&#13;
on Polymer and ceramic. The Artificial chamber we have created will have 5 different&#13;
types of artificial environments such as Raining, Temperature (Hot and Cold), Fog,&#13;
SMOG, and Dust.&#13;
The first step will be developing the artificial chamber and then calibrating 5 different&#13;
environmental settings, Once done Testing will begin on Polymer. This part consists&#13;
oftaking readings for all of the different environments e.g., Rain, Temperature (Hot&#13;
and Cold), Dust, SMOG, and Fog by using environmental data for the past 5 years of&#13;
Pakistan for better and more accurate results. The Testing will let us know the different&#13;
effects ofthe environment on Polymer and Ceramic insulators. After testing we will&#13;
compare both Polymer and Ceramic insulators and check which insulator&#13;
impacted by the environmental stress more thus letting us know which insulator is best&#13;
suited for the outdoor environments.

<title>loT BASED SMART HOME SYSTEM</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/15443</link>
<description>loT BASED SMART HOME SYSTEM
Javed, Sidra Reg # 57306; Shakeel, Urooj Reg # 57052; Anas, Muhammad Reg # 57066
In this project, we are presenting the design ofsmart home system which is working at a&#13;
very low cost and on wireless system. A system that consists of planning &amp; control of&#13;
your strength intake styles in commercial &amp; commercial sectors. Internet of Things is a&#13;
next generation of internet where the devices can communicate with each other to make&#13;
life comfortable for human beings. In this project, we have designed a smart system&#13;
which can automate the components in the Home Automation system (HAS). It can&#13;
minimize interaction of human beings to preserve integrity within the electrical devices&#13;
used in home. To control the devices remotely by IoT controlling devices (sensors,&#13;
communication devices, microcontroller, Node MCU), Home Automation System (HAS)&#13;
is used, without interacting of human being. The basic idea ofthis project is to add cloud&#13;
based communication by allowing unrestricted access of the appliances to the&#13;
fj&#13;
server&#13;
humans without considering the distance factor. It is provided a data transmitting&#13;
technique to make the appliances more efficient and creating stronger automation.

<title>WIND TURBINE YAW SYSTEM</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/123456789/15444</link>
<description>WIND TURBINE YAW SYSTEM
Rehman, Ateeq ur Reg # 57115; Abdullah, Zeeshan Reg # 57318
The energy sector is one oftire main factors ofthe country's economic growth. This&#13;
is due to the high cost of fuel worldwide. Pakistan is strongly influenced to cut its&#13;
dependence on fuel. Renewable energy is the best alternative. Pakistan meets 6% of&#13;
its total needs through renewable energy. Wind Turbines says increasing solar and&#13;
wind power capacity to at least 30 percent of total installed capacity by 2030&#13;
represents the least-cost development scenario, and $5 billion in fuel savings over 20&#13;
years is one of tire best renewables available. Optimizing wind energy conversion&#13;
efficiency has recently led to technological advances and scientific understanding of&#13;
wind turbines. In this context, the deviation behaviour of wind turbines has become&#13;
an important issue. Yaw control can really be used for optimization at tire level of&#13;
individual wind turbines and wind farms. We present a prototype wind turbine&#13;
deflection system that is used to optimize output power along with parameters (speed,&#13;
direction) ofrenewable energy sources.
